Hello everyone! My name is Kevin White, and I am a Financial Analyst here at CloudADDIE. In my first week, I have learned all about FRS, EPRCS, Smart View and Narrative Reporting, and how these different systems interact with each other and the overall Oracle Database. Although it can be overwhelming in the beginning, utilizing Google to solve problems and watching videos to learn more becomes a daily practice.

So far, I have really enjoyed the hands-on training provided by Jia, Vivian, and Wei, and the challenges that stem from being fully immersed in learning a new software database. More specifically, my favorite part has been utilizing Smart View and Narrative Reporting within Microsoft Office to create different Financial Report packages, as well as creating the individual Financial Reports themselves. An added benefit of working here has been the Friday team call where everyone comes together to talk about their week, address any issues they are currently facing and connect with one another. You can never put enough emphasis on company culture, especially during these challenging times. In these upcoming weeks I am excited to get more exposure to FCCS and EPBCS, master all the different intricacies and nuances within the Oracle database, figure out how the entire EPM suite ties together and hopefully get to the office to meet everyone face-to-face.
